Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026. Short version: this is a personal blog, not an ad-tech platform.

Nextgen Blog is a personal blog run by Anubhav. This page explains what data is collected when you visit and why — in plain language, without legalese padding.

What's stored in your browser

Features like bookmarks, likes, reading history, reading streaks, and achievements are saved using your browser's localStorage. This data stays on your device — it is never sent to us, never shared, and you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand aggregate traffic and page performance (e.g. how many people read an article, how fast pages load). These are privacy-friendly, cookie-free tools — they do not track you individually across other sites and are not used for advertising.

Comments

Article comments, where enabled, are powered by Giscus, which uses GitHub Discussions. If you comment, you'll be authenticating with GitHub directly, subject to GitHub's own privacy policy. We don't receive or store your GitHub credentials.

No accounts, no ad tracking

This site has no user accounts, no login, and no third-party advertising trackers. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing being sold to advertisers.

Changes to this policy

If what this site collects changes materially, this page will be updated and the date at the top will reflect that.

Questions

Reach out via the links in the site footer if you have questions about any of this.
